Rules and Regulations
  • All the users are required to sign the Visitors Register before entering the library.
  • Please leave your bags and files outside the library, but not your valuables (money etc.).
  • Use of cell phone is not allowed in the library. If the reader wishes to keep them while using the library, it must be either switched off or in silent mode.
  • Please notify the Librarian/Library staff, if you are bringing a book (personal or issued) in the library.
  • A non-member can use the library materials in the library premises with the permission of the Principal/ Librarian/ Teacher-in-charge.
  • Readers should not mark, underline, write or tear the pages of the library book.
  • Readers are requested to handle all library properties carefully to avoid damage, and not to disturb the other readers or users.
  • No library materials can be taken out of the library without the permission of the Librarian/Library staff.
  • Silence should be maintained in and outside the library premises.
  • Suggestions on all aspects of the library services are welcome.

LOSS OF LIBRARY CARD

  1. In case of loss of library card, a user should immediately report to the Librarian.
  2. Duplicate card may be issued on payment of a fine of Rs. 50.00.

FINE

  1. Library Users of all categories should return the books borrowed by him/her within the due date.
  2. If he/she fails to return the book within the due date, a fine of ₹ 5.00 per day for each book would be charged.

LOSS OF BOOKS

  1. Replace the books/documents by the same edition or the latest edition, or
  2. Reimburse the price as per Accession Register + @50% p.a. of the price as penal charge from the accessioning date. Any fraction of a year is treated as a whole year.
